Don't Use Mobile Inside Toilet

My blog is very silent since end of March. Today, I post some jokes to share all of my friends which is getting from my email in Burmese. I translated into English.

Just sit on the public toilet bowl and heard some greeting from the other room.

It’s uneasy to chit-chat in this place but anyway, replied him

“Yes, I’m fine”.

While trying to solve my problem, the other room asks again

“What are you busy”?

Huh, in this place, how to answer this kind of awkward question? But answered

“Just like you”.

Anyway finish faster and go out from the toilet but there’s another question again.

“Can I come over”?

What this guy asking? In my mind, surprisingly and also disappointed but replied him

“Don’t come over, I’m also busy here like you”.

Then the other room replied

“I’ll call you back later because the idiot from the other room answered every question I asked”. :D

I haven’t updated my blog for a long time because really busy these days. Today, I left all my busy things aside and crawl on internet, forwarding some emails and reply emails back to friends. While checking my mail box, I saw some funny statements from my friends. So I’ve an idea to post in my blog for fun. The actual statements are in Burmese but I translated those points and posted in my blog name “How do you know you are in 2008?”. :D The picture is at the end in Burmese.

1 - You’ll type password to your Microwave oven to switch on.

2 - Never play cards with actual cards for so long.

3 - To communicate 3 family members, you’ll have 15 phone numbers.

4 - You’ll send email to your colleague next to your seat for something to say.

5 - You’ll lose contact with some of your relatives and friends because they don’t have email address.

6 - Park your car in the garage and call your family through mobile to help you carry things which you bought in the car.

7 - Every advertisement shown on TV will subtitle with their website address.

8 - You’ll go back home and bring the hand-phone which is not together with you for your first 10 or 20 years of life.

10 - As soon as you wake up, go online before drinking coffee.

11 - Now you’ll start smile.

12 - After reading this you’ll smiling while nodding your head.

13 - And now you’ll thinking to forward this message to whom.

14 - You didn’t notice that this message has no number 9 because you are so busy.

15 - Haha.. now you try to find number 9 in the above list for really missing or not.

Lion Dance Competition Effect After Completion

The lion dance competition is over since last week, 14-Feb-2008, but the wave is still bouncing among all people. My friends are trying to finish competition DVDs but because of the electricity problem, they’re having delay to finish competition DVD Videos. Last year, there’s only one DVD for competition video but this year, there’s two DVDs and the playing length is about 9 hours. We can see very detail after all DVDs are encoded. :D

Before we get those DVDs, I’ve uploaded some photo shot before competition and during competition. I really have no time to edit high definition photos but I’m trying to edit and upload those nice and big photos on www.Flickr.com on this weekend. I'm really regret this time because I'm not used-to my camera mode. That's why, I'm taking around 400 photos but only a few pictures are good to see. I’m late to update the information for our Lion Dance Competition. Our 3rd Sin Oh Dan Lion Dance Competition was finished on 14-Feb-2008 which is Valentine’s Day. Before we start the competition, we guess that YSL and the Last Don will compete to get the Champion. Moreover, we heard some information that one of the performer from the Last Don will resign from the team after this year competition. So most of us estimated that this is the last year for the two buddy of the Last Don and they will win the Champion. After the competition, our estimation is correct and the revamp team of Two Year Continuous Champion Y.S.L got only 3rd Price. This year, new Champion is the Last Don and runner up is Lion Boy which is also new team organized this year.

As we expected to see faster moves and exciting performance in the competition, all the contesters tried their best to make performance. And their moves are really faster than last year and we saw a lot of exciting movements during competition. Moreover, they satisfied all the audience who are waiting this competition since one month ago. Our 3rd Sin Oh Dan Lion Dance Competition result list is as follow:
1st Price (Champion) – The Last Don (Two Year Continuous Runner Up)
2nd Price (Runner Up) – Lion Boy
3rd Price – Y.S.L
4th Price – Global Lion
5th Price – Dragon Tiger
6th Price – Pearl Black

We are expecting that next year we can see more teams to take part in the competition. :D

Today is the Valentine's Day for the whole world. There's a lot of history about Valentine's Day and I also get lots of email related to Valentine's Day. Most of the people celebrate with their love one on the Valentine's Day but Valentine's Day is actually not only for lovers but for friends and families also. Numerous early Christian martyrs were named Valentine. Until 1969, the Catholic Church formally recognized eleven Valentine's Days. The Valentines honored on February 14 are:

Valentine of Rome (Valentinus presb. m. Romae): a priest in Rome who suffered martyrdom about AD 269 and was buried on the Via Flaminia. His relics are at the Church of Saint Praxed in Rome.^[1] and at Whitefriar Street Carmelite Church in Dublin, Ireland.

Valentine of Terni (Valentinus ep. Interamnensis m. Romae): He became bishop of Interamna (modern Terni) about AD 197 and is said to have been killed during the persecution of Emperor Aurelian. He is also buried on the Via Flaminia, but in a different location than Valentine of Rome. His relics are at the Basilica of Saint Valentine in Terni (Basilica di San Valentino).

The Catholic Encyclopedia also speaks of a third saint named Valentine who was mentioned in early martyrologies under date of 14 February. He was martyred in Africa with a number of companions, but nothing more is known about him.

Update News for Lion Dance Competition

Because of this year country situation, we are worry to get the permit to organize the competition. But last Saturday, we got permit to organize our 3rd Lion Dance Competition. However, we need to be careful for any obstacles.

Moreover, this year our Continuous Two Year Champion, Dragon Head, team was dismissed by their boss. That’s why we didn’t see their name in the competition list. But don’t worry, our Two Year Continuous Champion, Drangon Head, team is reunited as Y.S.L. So this year we will see more exciting competition. I’m sure all the audience is excitingly want to see what kind of new moves will create and how improved they are in this year. The competition will be held on 11-Feburary to 14-Feburary. And detail list of all the teams are as follow:

3rd Sin Oh Dan Lion Dance Competition, Yangon, Myanmar

This year is the third time of competition for Sint Oh Dan Lion Dance Competition. New teams are joining in this year and there is only Continuous Runner Up, The Last Don, is the old team from last year so far, and amazing thing is that I didn’t see our Two Years Continuous Champion, Dragon Head, in the competition list. Right now I’ve no news for our Two Years Continuous Champion team but this year, we’ll see more new teams. Moreover, this year we prepare more special than last year such as each and every teams and guest associations will get special present and for first prize and second prize, we prepared new lion heads for them as a gift. Therefore, this year competition will be more exciting and the following teams are practicing very hard for this year:

Global Lion
Lion Boy

Get back to last year, all of the teams’ movements in the competition are consider slow but they are trying their best to show their moves. Their movement, however, slow, they can make all the audience really wonder moves. Do Fish Drink?

Few days ago, I saw interesting question which is “Do Fish Drink?”. Before I answer, wanna ask you first. Do you think fishes are drink water? You feel a little bit blur, right? Yes, I also blurred when I saw that question. But you think yourself that when you swimming, do you drink water? I’m sure you’ll answer nope. Be think carefully. Everybody drinks water, in other words, swallow water when they swim in the swimming pool. Don’t try to pretend sleeping. :D

Ok, here you are, the answer for “Do Fish Drink?”. I hope, you’ll know the general information about fishes that there’re two types of fishes, saltwater fish and freshwater fish. But there’s common in both types that they have osmosis. Osmosis is the movement of a liquid through a semi-permeable membrane. Osmosis is the movement of a liquid through a semi-permeable membrane. The liquid moves from areas of low solute concentration to an area of high solute concentration. The flow continues until the concentrations are equal on both sides of the membrane (The liquids move, not the solute).

Osmosis draws water through their skin out of their body. Saltwater fish need to drink water to replenish this constant loss. But I didn’t see any information that saltwater fish drink freshwater or saltwater. :D Freshwater fish have a body that is saltier than their surrounding freshwater. Osmosis draws water through their skin (membrane) into their bodies. Freshwater fish do not need to drink additional water.

In conclusion, freshwater fish don’t drink water but saltwater fish drink. So prepare to sell water to those saltwater fish. Are you smiling? Don’t smile, I’m giving you very good advise which you can wealth. :D Go and start doing it. One day you’ll be millionaire for selling water to fish. :D

Most of the people from Myanmar IT field know me as TNT. In Singapore, most of the people know me as Albert. Actually, I'm not a popular person. :D But I've a lot of friends around the world.

As for me, I'm just a person who has one head with two eyes, one nose, a pair of ears and a mouth with 36 teeth and a tongue. :P Having two hands and Legs and a body with full of stomach, heart, liver and so on.. (PS: Please check with your physician for the complete set of interior body.) That's about me. Hmm.. Now you know I'm not different with you, right?
